Leave it to Beyoncé to top a best-dressed list at a star-studded party.
The “Virgo’s Groove” singer and husband Jay-Z made an ultra cool appearance at the recent birthday party for Tim Weatherspoon, Kelly Rowland’s husband, where Bey reunited with her fellow Destiny’s Child members.
For the occasion, Bey pulled out all the sartorial stops by opting for a sculptural Schiaparelli moment: a black figure-hugging corset with metallic gold spiral bra cups from the house’s Fall/Winter 2022 ready-to-wear collection. She layered the corset over a black mesh long-sleeved top, then finished off the look with black leather opera gloves and black bottoms. Her accessories coordinated with the gold accents, like her geometric gold-rimmed sunglasses and a bulky gold chain necklace.
Meanwhile, Jay-Z went for a subdued monochromatic look via a black long-sleeved top, black pants, and black oval sunglasses.
Rowland shared photos from the night on Instagram, including a snap of herself, Bey, and Michelle Williams appearing to sing into microphones while standing amid a crowd. The three women comprised the final and best-known lineup of Destiny’s Child.
The image of the reunited girl group prompted one fan to comment, “I KNOW THE CHILDREN OF DESTINY DID NOT SING HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TIM AND THERE’S NO VIDEO FOOTAGE(S) ????????”
Rowland and Williams looked glamorous in coordinating all-black outfits. Rowland wowed in an incredible black Di Petsa gown, which featured prominent cutouts across the bustier, held together by gold hardware. As for Williams, she opted for a dazzling take on suits: a black blazer jacket with strips of silver sequin embellishments on the sleeves and waistline, as well as crisscrossing straps on the plunging V neckline.
